The short film, which is an original production of the Bahamas' national anthem featuring Bahamian musical artist Angelique Sabrina, was released on the evening of Thursday July 4th, and includes scenes shot across multiple islands in The Bahamas.

The video was released online and on Cable 12 following a 40th independence media event and flag raising at Cable Bahamas in Nassau.

Starting July 9 and through the end of the month it will be played prior to each movie showing at Galleria Cinemas at their Mall at Marathon and JFK locations as part of the Bahamas Independence celebrations.

The film production has also been shared across numerous web sites and social media services, including BahamasLocal.com, EmployBahamians.com and NuWomanMagazine.com.

"We're ecstatic at the reception we have seen," said Cable Bahama Head of Marketing David Burrows.

"Since its launch last week, it has been seen by tens of thousands of people and shared more than 800 times on Facebook."
