 Next Monday’s 2010 Visionary Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs Awards Conference scheduled to be held at the British Colonial Hilton will offer business owners, entrepreneurs and managers practical business solutions on a wide range of concerns including everything from Finance Management, Staying Abreast of Your Competitors, Crime in The Work Place and Women in Business plus lots more.

 During a special panel discussion on Finance Management, Justin Sturrup of The Bahamas Development Bank will discuss the topic, ‘How To Secure Funding for Your Small Business.’ Also Jerome Gomez of The Bahamas Entrepreneurial Venture Fund will zero in on ‘The Common Errors Made By Small Businesses in Sustaining their Business.’ Also conference attendees will hear ways in which they can Save and Invest and Build Up Credibility.

 A spokesperson for Visionaire Marketing, the organizers of the conference said, “Finance management remains to be of critical importance for many businesses particularly SME’s (Small and Medium Sized Enterprises) which continue to face challenges day to day, despite the fact that the economy is showing some signs of improvement.”

 The conference will climax with the Visionary Awards luncheon in which Joan Albury, President of The Counsellors Ltd, Pastor Silbert Mills of the Bahamas Christian Network and Bahamas Ferries will each be presented with Visionary Awards for their role in contributing to business development in the country. Leading Motivational Speaker and Corporate Image Consultant, Stasia Williams, President of Total Image Management will be the keynote speaker for the Visionary Awards luncheon and will challenge business professionals ‘To Take Their Businesses To The Next Level During The Economic Recovery.’

 The conference will also feature a special afternoon session for women in business in which leading female entrepreneurs Sonia Brown, Principal of Graphite Engineering; Dr. Chinyere Carey-Bullard, Proprietor of Advance Family Medical Center and Medispa and Denelee Penn, President of Evergreen Mortuary will discuss the topic, ‘How to Successfully Navigate In A Male Dominated Business Environment.’
