The Bahamas Film Commission participated in Florida Tourism Day with Film Florida in Tallahassee, from March 13-15. The Bahamas is an associate member of Film Florida, a non-profit organization established to bring more production business to the State of Florida.

The Bahamas is the only country in the Caribbean/Atlantic Region which has been afford the privilege of membership. The benefits to the Bahamas and the Bahamas Film Commission is access to a pool of Florida-based resources, and production assistance beyond the Florida boarders.
