Alleged bail jumper charged with million-dollar drug bust

Police yesterday charged a man who allegedly jumped bail last year in connection with a million dollar marijuana bust.
David Colebrooke dropped off the monitoring center's radar when he allegedly cut off his ankle bracelet in May 2012.
After almost a year of untracked movement, authorities will know exactly where Colebrooke is located as he's been remanded to prison on the new charges.
Colebrooke, whose street name is 'Dready', Charnthan Hill, and Orlando Murray made their initial appearance before Deputy Chief Magistrate Carolita Bethell on charges of marijuana possession with intent to supply.
Police found 1,000 pounds of drugs, with an estimated wholesale street value of $1 million, in an apartment on John Street on March 1.
Murray pleaded guilty, but the court did not accept his plea because he did not agree with the facts that the Crown intended to present against him at trial.
Colebrooke and Hill entered not guilty pleas. Colebrooke also denied damaging his ankle bracelet. He was being tracked on two major drug cases when he allegedly removed the bracelet.
Bethell remanded all of the suspects to prison as she does not have the jurisdiction to grant bail for drug possession with intent to supply.
