The Summit opened on Tuesday, 22nd January in Los Angeles, California and is said to be the largest hotel investment conference in the world, attracting more than 2000 major investment firms, hedge fund managers, hotel operators, and financiers. President Rolle notes that the ALIS event provides a tremendous opportunity to promote Grand Bahama Island and its many benefits for business and leisure.

"While Grand Bahama is a premier location for tourism activities, it's more than a touristic destination. It is also ideal for executive education programs and corporate retreats, business conferences, and of course, major tourism or commercial development projects," Rolle emphasized.

"The island's lifestyle and entertainment sectors are ripe with opportunity that simply needs to be tapped." Rolle continued. The summit will continue through Thursday, 24th January and offers attendees access to some of the most prominent brands in the lodging and resort development industry.  Platform speaker Min. the Hon.
