Nassau, Bahamas - His Excellency Ramon Leets Castillo, non-resident
Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Nicaragua presented Letters of Credence
to His Excellency Sir Arthur Foulkes, GCMG, Governor -General of The Commonwealth
of The Bahamas. The event was held at Government House on Thursday, August 23.
Sir Arthur said that strengthening and expansion of relations between the two
countries can contribute significantly to sustainable development and
preservation of sovereignty and self-determination. He said potential sectors
to which both countries accord priority include: Education, agriculture,
housing disaster preparedness, drug control, arms trafficking and youth
