Nassau, Bahamas. 29th October 2012:  The 4th edition of the regional Travelling Caribbean Film Showcase opened in Nassau on Monday, 22nd October, at the Galleria Cinemas West with a capacity crowd in attendance at the Opening Night Film and Reception.

The feature film for the event was "Travelers", a drama by director Carlos Bido, depicting the saga of a group of migrants from the Dominican Republic in search of a better life in Puerto Rico.

The film vividly and poignantly deals with the harsh realities of human trafficking and smuggling within the islands. It was preceded by a short comedy, "No Signal" from Venezuela, depicting a humorous situation which unfolds during a traffic jam...
