Water tanker breakdown affects business

The head of Sunrise Wash is projecting a possible 20 percent increase in electricity costs due to lower water supply to the island and an uptick in business as a consequence.
"The water problem hasn't affected us per se, because we pump and clean our own water and put it in a holding facility,"said Gus Cartwright, owner of the Eastern laundromat."But in order to meet the high demand we've been seeing we had to clean so much water with our equipment[and that has pushed the cost of supplying electricity much higher for us.
