Cable Bahamas Public Announcment

Cable Bahamas would like to inform the public of the following regarding its services and operations on the various islands as follow:

 New Providence - The New Providence office will open at 3pm today to take payments and customer information relating to customer service issues as a direct result of Hurricane Sandy.  Our technical support teams are continuing to make damage assessments and will start restoration efforts as soon as it is safe to do so.  Customers should note that Cable Bahamas crews will prioritize the restoration of cable television, Internet and Phone services based on the restoration of electricity services by BEC in the various communities. Normal operations will commence on Saturday October 26, 2012 8am. 

 Grand Bahama – Grand Bahama is still currently experiencing hurricane conditions and restoration will not begin until crews would have had an opportunity to assess the damages.

 Abaco    – Abaco is still currently experiencing hurricane conditions and restoration will not begin until crews would have had an opportunity to assess the damages
