Former Chairman of the Bahamas Hotel Corporation George Smith has expressed the view that both the Progressive Liberal Party and Free National Movement should vote to support the Baha Mar project.
"We ought to support it and wherever we differ we should meet with the people and arrive at an understanding,"said Smith in an interview yesterday withThe Nassau Guardian.
The government presented a resolution to the House of Assembly on Wednesday concerning the proposed$2.5 billion Cable Beach development. It is seeking the consent of the House regarding the controversial labor component of the deal.
