Murder accused's case postponed

The trial of a man accused of killing his girlfriend has been postponed.
Senior Justice Jon Isaacs set a tentative trial date of July 16 when John Adderley was arraigned in the Supreme Court last year.
Adderley's trial was pushed back because the main trial of Jeremy Kemp, who is accused of the attempted armed robbery of KFC in October 2010, began.
Justice Bernard Turner will fix a new trial date for Adderley on August 21.
Adderley is accused of the January 9, 2011 murder of Denise Adderley. Ms. Adderley, a teacher at the Uriah McPhee Primary School, was shot in the head in the parking lot of the Texaco Service Station at Wulff and Kemp Roads.
Adderley remains on remand. He is represented by Murrio Ducille. Kevin Farrington appeared for the Crown.
