Swanks Pizzas are Back!

NASSAU, The Bahamas: They’re back! Swanks Pizzas, a long favourite amongst Bahamian consumers, are back by popular demand at Anthony’s Restaurant on Paradise Island.

Swanks Pizzas have enjoyed legendary status in Nassau, ever since they first appeared decades ago at an outlet on the roundabout at Skyline Drive and West Bay Street. Since that time, pizzas have come and pizzas have gone, but Bahamians still hanker after Swanks Pizza. “There’s been no pizza sold in Nassau before or since, that was as good as Swanks Pizza”, said an enthusiastic devotee picking up his pizza recently at Anthony’s Restaurant.

Anthony’s offers six specialty pizzas ready for take-out, as well as the option to build your own, and even without a heavy push, word-of-mouth has already been moving them. “It’s remarkable,” exclaimed Chef Anthony Notarfrancesco, who runs the restaurant and was suitably impressed with the reception the pizzas were already receiving. “I suppose, a legendary item will always do well, and Swanks pizzas are certainly legendary!” he said. Chef Anthony declined to give any details about the recipe or method of making Swanks Pizza. He did suggest, however, that there was a special technique involved.

Secure parking is available outside Anthony’s Restaurant, located in the Paradise Village Shopping Centre, across from the Atlantis Marina Village. Anthony’s will also validate multi-story parking tickets with purchase.
