Building on the successes of the past 7 years, the Shiloh Seventh-Day
Adventist Church hosted its 8th Annual Grand Bahama Health Expo this
past Sunday on the Shiloh Church grounds.

Under the Theme "Promoting Healthy Lifestyles", the Health Ministry and
Community Services Departments started the week with nightly informative
health seminars.  Amongst the many speakers featured were: Dr. Tamara
Burke-Moree (RMH) - focusing on men's and women's health issues and
cancer prevention; Dr. Elaine Lundy (RMH) - focusing on children's
health, Nurse Dawn Albury-Gaitor (Nassau) - focusing on  Hypertension
and Diabetes. Dr. Lester Careero (Orlando, FL) - culminated the seminars
with practical ways to treat various illnesses with natural remedies
and diet.
