Union, power company negotiations at impasse

Freeport,Grand Bahama-After months of ongoing negotiations between the Commonwealth Electrical Workers Union(CEWU)and the Grand Bahama Power Company(GBPC), the two entities seem no closer to solving their contract dispute.
According to union president Leslie Lightbourne, the two groups have arrived at an impasse as the Grand Bahama Power Company is unwilling to settle a contract with the union.
"The reliability Mr. Allen Kelley is looking for will never happen until he realizes his number one resource, the employees,"said Lightbourne.
He noted in a press release that there are three major issues contributing to the dispute between both sides. ...
