PLP Supporters Attack FNM at Walkabout in Grand Bahama

FNM Spokesperson Hon. Tommy Turnquest released the following statement in reaction to the incident of PLP supporters attacking FNM supporters on a walk about in Grand Bahama today:

“All the political parties in this country hold events to share their message. It’s a shame that the PLP can’t respect this process of rallying supporters and sharing the FNM’s message of economic growth, less crime and a brighter future for our children.”

“I hope the PLP will give our election tomorrow more respect than they have given the voters on Grand Bahama today. As people all over this country head to the polls tomorrow, the PLP needs to commit themselves to ensuring that this is a free, peaceful and democratic election. That’s what this country and its citizens deserve”
