Plus customers don't need a password to browse the BahamasLocal.com website, where they can find movie times, the latest news and search thousands of business entries. A study by In-Stat, a leading Technology Intelligence organization, estimated that global hotspot usage increased by 47 per cent in 2009 bringing the total worldwide hotspot venues to 245,000 locations (http://www.instat.com/newmk.asp?ID=2663). This increase is expected to continue through the end of 2010 and beyond.
