Funeral service for Effie Cooper, 92 yrs., a resident of Spring Point, Acklins & formerly of Pompey Bay, Acklins, who died on 11th February, 2012, will be held at St. Agnes Anglican Church, Baillou Hill Road, on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Archdeacon I. Ranfurly Brown. Interment follows in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Left to cherish her memories are her 3 sons: Garland Sr., Roy & Ted Cooper; 4 daughters: Audrey, Ruth, Brenda & Deborah Cooper; 23 grandsons: Garland Jr., Lemuel, Shawn, Delphino, Antonio, Cyril, Lance, Tony, Jesnal, Javon, Randy, Marcus, Raven, Renoldo, Jarod, Ted Jr., R.J., Austin, Jamal, Jason, Jamayla, Kayden & Jason; 11 granddaughters including: Tara, Keesha, Karen, Keley, Taraz & Shanice; 12 great grandsons, 14 great granddaughters too many to mention; 2 brothers: Landford & Kermith Hanna; 2 sisters-in-law: Effie & Whelma Hanna; nieces & nephews: Cynthia & Ernal Heastie, Gaynell, Margret & Winnie Hanna, Blonivia Hanna & family; other family members: E.R. Hanna & family, Curtis Hanna & family, Cyslin Cooper & family, Kenny Cooper & family, Althia Rolle & family, Hanna, Heastie & Tynes family, Felix Bain & family, Dr. Gunabe & family & a host of other relatives & friends especially: Doctors, Nurses & Staff of Crank Shank Ward of Sandilands Hospital & the entire community of Spring Point, Acklins.
Friends may pay their respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 10-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday from 9-12:00 noon & at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
