Freeport Concrete Company Limited announced this week the appointment of Mr Martin Foody as Concrete and Block Plant Manager in charge of their new ready mix concrete batching facility in Freeport, Grand Bahama.
Mr Foody brings extensive global experience in past appointments with Wimpey International, Taylor Woodrow International and Balfour Beatty International in countries such as Dubai, Oman, Nigeria, Somalia, Jordan and Sri Lanka. For six years Mr Foody was the concrete manager at the Paradise Island Ready Mix facility on Paradise Island, Bahamas, and was responsible for supplying ready mixed concrete for Atlantis phases II and III. Paradise Island Ready Mix concrete company, under Mr Foody?s supervision, was the winner of the Roger H. Corbetta Award by the Concrete Industry Board (USA), which recognises significant contributions to progress in methods of concrete construction.
