All children need the right tools to learn and succeed in today's world. Thanks to a donation from Reuben and Jacqueline Byrd, the children at the Grand Bahama Children's Home (GBCH) are far better equipped.  The Byrds donated four new IBM ThinkPads to the children's home.

"We wanted to give these children something practical and, as we understand it, very needed," said Mr. Byrd.

Home administrator Brennamae Cooper accepted the laptops and spoke about the importance of computer training in today's world.  "Our children have had to struggle to get their time on the computers we have," she said.  "These new computers will make a wonderful addition to our computer lab and the size is perfect."
