We in The Bahamas, along with viewers and listeners in the entire
Caribbean Region, had the luxury and the privilege to listen and view
the unfolding of Jamaica's Election Process as Citizens of Jamaica
carried out their Constitutional and Democratic Right to Vote for and
select the Members of Parliament and support the respective Political
Party with the ultimate prize, being the Leader of the winning Party
ascending to Prime Minister. These political events signaled the
significance of Jamaica's emerging democracy.
