Nassau, Bahamas - Officers of the Mobile Division removed two (2) firearms from the streets of New Providence. Initial police reports indicate that around 1:45 pm on Monday 19th December, 2011 police received reports of gunshots being heard in the area of Mars Road, Golden Gates.

Police responded and on arrival to the area of community park observed a group of men, who on seeing the police fled the area. Police gave chase; however, the men were able to evade police.
