Paint Fair recently hosted its second annual Colour & Decorating 101, offering professional colour and decorating advice to a capacity crowd while officially launching its newest line: Ralph Lauren paint and finishes - becoming the first company outside the United States to become an authorised the Ralph Lauren line.

?We welcomed over 130 customers and friends to our seminar and we all came away inspired with colour and fantastic decorating tips,? explains Mrs. Joan Davies, President, Paint Fair. ?These seminars are part of our commitment to our customers and their projects and bringing easy-to-use tips and techniques along with inside tips on the latest trends are other ways we can deliver on that commitment,? she adds.

?Nothing gives you more impact, more ?bang for the buck? when it comes to making a big difference in your home like paint does,? explains Mrs. Barbara Richardson, Designer and Director of Colour Marketing, North America, for AkzoNobel ? the largest paint and coatings company in the world and parent company of Paint Fair?s lines Devoe, Glidden and Ralph Lauren Paint.

Mrs. Richardson took attendees on a journey of colour history, the emotional impact of colour and the process of decorating a space starting out with a single inspiration piece.

Paint Fair also celebrated the launch of its newest addition to its product line: Ralph Lauren. ?We are proud to announce the official launch of Ralph Lauren here in Grand Bahama ? making Paint Fair the first company in the world outside the United States to be an authorised dealer,? says Mr. Anton Syzdikov, Manager, Export Markets, AkzoNobel.

The Paint Fair team is excited about the new line indicating that it adds new high end design options to their extensive product line mix and offers its customers new options with exciting new finishes never before available. ?What Ralph Lauren does to design and fashion, he brings to the world of paint with fabulous designer colours and incredible finishes that are luxurious, second to none in quality and easy to use,? says Mrs. Lesley Baptista, General Manager of Paint Fair.

?We are so pleased with the response to the seminar and the new Ralph Lauren line and we look forward to bringing more high end design for so much less than traditional materials into the homes of Grand Bahama,? she adds.

Paint Fair also utilized the opportunity of having a great crowd in its store during the packed seminar to give back to the community. ?We asked our customers and friends to share the love of their homes with the Grand Bahama Children?s Home and make donations,? says Mrs. Davies. ?We were overwhelmed with the tremendous responses and everyone dug deep to team up with us to make a donation,? she adds. The giving continued through the month of November as the hand-painted pillows done by professional designer Barbara Richardson were being auctioned off with all proceeds going to the home.
