Festive Christmas Party to top off National Association Of The Bahamas Holiday Events

National Association of The Bahamas ‘ much anticipated upcoming Christmas party which takes place this year in Hollywood, FL, December 10th. will top of the Association’s holiday events.

The party will feature a full sit down Bahamian Christmas dinner, door prizes, gifts, giveaways, Bahamian music and entertainment. Tickets for this year are currently on sale and are available through NAB Board members or by calling (305) 632-7109 or (305) 439-3129.

The National Association of The Bahamas (NAB) recently hosted its annual Dine N Dash fundraiser event, kicking of the organizations fun-filled holiday social calendar, for Bahamians and friends of The Bahamas in South Florida. Other holiday events hosted by the group this year included Christmas In November an early shopping experience.

NAB’s successful Dine N Dash event this year drew its loyal crowd, who enjoyed a riotous comedic presentation on the bus en route to the three homes where they sumptuously feasted on appetizers, soup and salad and entrée and deserts. The evening ended with calypso and line dancing that was enjoyed by all.

The Association also recently held its Annual Christmas In November Trade Show meeting, which took place this year at Conch Heaven, Bahamian Restaurant (across the street from Miami Dade College). Guests while shopping for unique Bahamian gifts were treated to Bahamian conch fritters, chicken wings and Bahamian punch. Items on sale included Bahamian straw bags, Bahamian designer jewelry, hats, cakes, perfumes, Bahamas Goombay Punch and even peanut and coconut cakes.

The National Association of The Bahamas is in its 18th year as a Bahamian organization for Bahamians and those of Bahamian descent in The South Florida area. The goals of the organization include: Promoting opportunities for the interaction and networking of members; Fostering growth and prosperity of businesses and individuals; Increasing employment opportunities; Enhancing the economic stability of the Bahamian community and encouraging and stimulating private enterprise.
