$3 million upgrade to the Rand Memorial Hospital in Freeport, Grand Bahama

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Health Minister, the Hon. Dr. Hubert A. Minnis is pictured (centre) during the ground breaking ceremony for a $3 million upgrade to the Rand Memorial Hospital in Freeport, Grand Bahama.  The Ministry is spending $2,999,403.75 on renovations and expansion of the Operating Threatre Suites at the Rand.  The move  will reduce the need to transfer patients to the Princess Margaret Hospital in New Providence, once the two new theatres are completed.
