The Bahamas International Film Festival is set for December 1st through 4th.
Opening Night Film will be The Rum Diary starring Johnny Depp which will be followed by the Opening Night Reception, all at the Atlantis. Depp plays an American journalist, Paul Kemp who takes on a freelance job in Puerto Rico for a local newspaper during the 1950s and struggles to find a balance between island culture and the expatriates who live there.
The Closing Night Film will be Breakaway, followed by a Bollywood themed Closing Night Celebration. Breakaway stars Camilla Belle and Vinay Virmani and is a comedic drama about family, tradition, growing up and hockey, with a pinch of Bollywood thrown in.
