The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) hosted more than 200 mothers to a Pre-Mother’s Day luncheon on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the Foster B. Pestaina Centre, where they were showered with gifts, serenaded and treated to a scrumptious meal. 

Minister for Grand Bahama, the Hon. Ginger Moxey and URA Deputy Director, Senator the Hon. Kirk Russell brought remarks and thanked the mothers for their tireless and selfless work, love and legacy.
