BTC refreshes bills and mobile app to make life easier for customers

BTC customers are now enjoying a more streamlined, digital-friendly experience with the introduction of a new bill design and updated mobile app. Both upgrades were shaped by customer feedback and are part of the company’s continued commitment to improving how customers connect, manage, and pay for their services.

The refreshed BTC bill features a clean, modern layout that is simple to read and easy to navigate. Customers can clearly see their account numbers, payment due dates, usage details, and all itemized charges, all in one place. The new design also includes a sleek payment barcode, making it even easier to scan and pay at BTC locations and kiosks.

“We listened to our customers and our product team worked to completely redesign the BTC bill with them in mind,” said K. Teneile Simmons, BTC’s head of Customer Experience. “It’s now clearer, smarter, and tailored to make managing your account effortless whether you prefer to view your bills on a desktop or mobile device.

Alongside the new bill, BTC has also enhanced its mobile app to deliver more convenience on the go. Customers can now download and view their bills, check payment history, review usage details, and even link multiple accounts. The MyBTC Mobile app also integrates with BTC’s WhatsApp chatbot, giving customers a fast and friendly way to get support or ask questions anytime.

“This upgrade is another step in our digital transformation journey,” added Simmons. “We want every customer action to be simple, seamless and backed by the latest technology.

Simmons also hinted to even more upgrades to the MyBTC Mobile app slated for this quarter, and improvements to its interactive voice response (IVR) system.

The redesigned bill is available to all customers and can be accessed through the upgraded MyBTC Mobile app. Customers wishing to have their bills emailed directly to them can reach out to the BTC Contact Center at 225-5282 or visit any BTC retail store.
