Nassau, Bahamas - The following are remarks made by Hon D Shane Gibson, member of Parliament for Golden Gates on the Road Traffic Act Amendment. Mr. Speaker, first of all, I would like to thank the wonderful people of the great constituency of Golden Gates, for allowing me to represent them in this place over the past nine and a half years.

Mr. Speaker, as we maneuver through the maze of diversions and road closures, pot holes and trenches throughout the island of New Providence, I would be remiss if I did not say a few words on the nightmarish New Providence Road Project which is of major serious concern to all road users including my Constituents of Golden Gates.

Everyone, even members of the side opposite, are experiencing the mounting frustration and anger at the ill-planned and poorly executed New Providence Road Improvement Project...
