Governor General, Her Excellency the Most Hon. Dame Cynthia Pratt attended the Government of The Bahamas Inaugural Public Service Scholars Programme Ceremony at Government House, June 16, 2025.

The Hon. Pia Glover-Rolle, Minister  of Labour and the Public Service, was the keynote speaker.

The Public Service Scholars Programme is a new initiative geared toward attracting the best and brightest students enrolled at University of The Bahamas to pursue a career in the Public Service.

Ten students were recognized as having satisfied the requirements, and received their packages at the brief ceremony.
