Zion Yamacraw Baptist Church to Celebrate the 7th Pastoral Anniversary of Rev’d Dr. Glendon E. Rolle

Thu, Jun 5th 2025, 10:47 AM

This Sunday, June 8th at 3:30 PM, Zion Yamacraw Baptist Church will host a powerful and spirit-filled celebration in honor of the 7th Pastoral Anniversary of its esteemed leader, Reverend Dr. Glendon E. Rolle. The commemorative service will take place on the church’s historic grounds at Yamacraw Hill Road under the prophetic and timely theme: “Faith Anchored,” inspired by Hebrews 6:17–20.

Zion Yamacraw, a pillar in the Nassau community, has witnessed undeniable growth and revival under Dr. Rolle’s leadership. From grassroots outreach to innovative teaching initiatives, the church has become a sanctuary of empowerment, particularly during times of uncertainty.

“Seven years ago, God dropped anchor right here in Yamacraw,” reflects Reverend Dr. Rolle. “Every triumph and every storm has only strengthened our hope. I’m humbled that our beloved congregation let me grow, stumble, learn, and lead—all while keeping our faith lashed tight to the Rock.”

Pastor Rolle’s tenure has been marked by bold community outreach—from women empowerment events to mental-wellness workshops—fostering congregants to live Hebrews 6:19, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”

The keynote preacher for this sacred occasion will be Pastor Quinty Sears, trailblazing from Prophetic Kingdom Encounter Ministries in Freeport, Grand Bahama, and known for her bold, unfiltered teaching style and authentic Kingdom vision.

Pastor Quinty Sears, no stranger to prophetic fire, says the anniversary is more than a celebration—it’s a charge. “When faith is anchored, legacy is inevitable,” Sears shares. “I’m honored to stand with Pastor Rolle and Zion Yamacraw as we declare that the same God who steadies the ship will carry us to deeper waters of purpose.”

The afternoon’s program will be a full-circle reflection on seven years of divine assignments fulfilled—with guest ministers, worship leaders, and testimonies from members whose lives have been touched by Pastor Rolle’s unwavering service.

Members of the press, civic leaders, and the wider Bahamian family are encouraged to attend and witness a service poised to stir faith, celebrate resilience, and chart the next chapter of Kingdom impact.
