In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, Bron Ltd. ("BRON")held its inaugural Family & Friends Fun Run & Walk on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The event brought together team members, their families, and community partners, reinforcing the company's organizational commitment to workplace wellness and a culture of collective support,
Participants gathered early for the start of the run and walk, which was followed by a range of fitness and wellness activities. The event featured a Zumba session, push-up and strength challenges, a children’s play area with inflatable games, on-site massage therapy, and refreshing smoothies available throughout the morning.
“This was more than just a day of exercise; it was an investment in the people who drive the company forward,” said Tonya Bethel, BRON Senior Director of Human Resources & Administration. “When families are included in that support system, everyone benefits. That’s what this day was about.”
There were several standout participants recognized for their performance. Carlos Palacious placed first among 5K runners. In the overall age group categories, first-place winners included Omari Downes and Mikayla McKenzie (Under 16), Alexis Lightbourne (21–29), Desiree Smith (30–39), Ray-Don Poitier (40–49), Scott Blacquiere (50–59), Barrington Johnson (60–69), and James Palacious (70 & Up).
BRON HR Administrator Gabrielle Conliffe added, “The Fun Run & Walk is part of a broader effort to support team members beyond their job descriptions. We’re creating a structure where people are encouraged to take care of themselves and the communities around them.”
