AS POLICE investigate the second road death in two days -- and the 25th traffic fatality for the year -- late reports confirm a man has handed himself in over the first accident.
The body of a man was found lying face-up shortly before 4am Monday on Fire Trail Road East. He had a large head wound and what appeared to be tyre marks along the left side of his arm and shirt.
Police are asking the public to assist them with identifying the victim - who was wearing a red-striped polo shirt, a pair of black jeans and tennis shoes - as he was not carrying any personal identification at the time.
