King’s College School, The Bahamas, has officially opened applications for its state-of-the-art boarding house, King’s Beach Lodge, set to open for the 2025-2026 academic year. Media representatives were given an exclusive walk-through of the ongoing construction on January 31st, previewing the meticulous design and premium features offered to students at the stunning beachfront facility.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Love Beach, King’s Beach Lodge will house nearly fifty boarders. Each bedroom will feature a private bathroom, a study and rest area, a balcony and stunning sea views. The communal areas, including a student lounge, cafeteria and a high-specification gym with a panoramic beach terrace, will foster a vibrant environment for students to live, learn, and grow.
There are a variety of boarding options for students in Year 7 and above, tailored to meet diverse family needs:
● Full-time Boarding: A fully immersive experience.
● Weekly Boarding: Stay during the week and return home for the weekend.
● Flexi-Boarding: Enjoy the boarding environment for up to a few nights a week, with options for extended days and overnight stays.
The boarding house will offer students the opportunity to benefit from King’s College School’s world-class education much closer to home than traditional boarding schools located in Europe or North America. In addition, the school community benefits from an influx of new students every year as part of Inspired’s global exchange programme. This programme helps students broaden their horizons by bringing together different cultures and languages.
Nadim M. Nsouli, Founder, Chairman & CEO of Inspired Education, commented: “We look forward to hosting students at King's Beach Lodge for our international summer camps and the upcoming academic year, marking a significant milestone in King College School’s development.
This expansion aligns with Inspired's vision of providing its students with diverse experiences and perspectives, and our students will have the opportunity to forge lifelong connections with peers from across Inspired’s family of over 95,000 students in 120 schools across the globe.”
Matthew Taylor, Head of Boarding at King’s Beach Lodge commented: "At King’s Beach Lodge, students from across the archipelago of the Bahamas and beyond will have access to a truly global education that rivals some of the best schools across the world. Construction with our team of fully local contractors is on target for our opening in June 2025. We have created a premium environment that is a home away from home, where students feel encouraged and can embrace their education wholeheartedly, developing academically and personally, to become the impactful leaders of tomorrow.”
