DRM Authority gives the Hurricane Milton 'All Clear'

Officials of the Disaster Risk Management Authority (DRM Authority) held a brief press conference on Thursday afternoon, October 10, 2024 at the authority's head office on Gladstone Road to assess, and announce the "all clear" for the Northern Islands of The Bahamas after the passing of Hurricane Milton. 

Giving statements were: the Hon. Leon Lundy, Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister with Responsibility for the Disaster Risk Management Authority; Aarone Sargent, Managing Director of the Disaster Risk Management Authority; and Geoffrey Greene, Chief Meteorologist, Bahamas Department of Meteorology.
