It's amazing what small change can bring. For the individuals of the Disabled Persons' Organization, coins from the waterfall in the new U.S. Departure Terminal at LPIA brought 60 pounds of "benefits" for much needed assistive devices. The group is the second charitable organization to receive the coin donation from Nassau Airport Development Company officials.

The airport's new water feature has brought not only beauty but benefits to local charities.
