Caribbean Youth Day 2011 is going to be celebrated on

Saturday, October 1st

. Its purpose is to

promote the accomplishments of youth around the region.

Bahamas' celebrations will start off with a

Caribbean Youth Day FORUM on Thursday,

September 29th
at the Harry C. Moore Library and Information Center, College of the
Bahamas (COB) with the Bahamas Youth Council from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

Opening reception on September 30th at 7pm at the British Colonial Hilton.
