TWO of the three men charged with the stabbing death of a father were unanimously convicted of murder by a 12 member jury.

Edney Burrows, 27, and Andre Dieujuste, 28, were found guilty of killing 28-year-old Jason Smith on September 13, 2008.

A third man accused of Smith's death, 36-year-old Daryl Rolle, was acquitted.

Senior Justice Jon Isaacs told Mr Rolle that he was "discharged and free to go."

Before leaving to deliberate at 4pm, the jury listened to closing submissions by attorney Elliot Lockhart on behalf of his client, Edney Burrows.
