Royal Bahamas Police Force Choir performs in Atlanta

Atlanta, Georgia -
Members of the Royal Bahamas Police Force Choir performed in Atlanta,
Georgia at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.  The choir members
also attended a gospel music workshop in Cincinnati, Ohio before
returning to New Providence.  According to Consul General Katherine
Smith "the Consulate will continue to promote Bahamian culture, our
music and the talents of Bahamians in general.  The city of Atlanta has
a very rich and vibrant community for the performing arts with many
opportunities."

St. Anthony of Padua is an historical Catholic
Church of culturally diverse, predominately African-American families.
It is the only Catholic Church in the historic West End community of
Atlanta. More than 100 years old, the church was established in
September 1903...
