Rite of Christian burial for the late Ida Rebecca Roxbury aged 81, a resident of Eastor Avenue, Yellow Elder Gardens and formerly of Dumore's, Long Island will be held on Saturday 10th September, 2011 at 1 p.m. at our lady's catholic church, deveaux street.  officiating will be Fr. Alain Laverne, assisted by deacon Maxwell Johnson and deacon Peter Rahming and interment will follow in the St. Joseph catholic cemetery, Taylor street.

She is survived by her two sons-Joseph Bean and Malcolm Major of Freeport Grand Bahama, five daughters-Marina Evans, Estella Taylor of Grand Bahama, Joycelyn Roxbury, Charlene Munnings and Glory Taylor, three sisters-Louise, Adline & Lillian Roxbury, two brothers-Lenard Roxbury of the Bronx New york and Leon Roxbury, twenty three grandchildren-Marvin, Lamont, Adron, Joseph Junior, Justin, Dimitri, Roberto, Christopher, Randy, p.c. 716 Sean Butler, Portia, Yvonne, Sophia, Jaden, Melony, Malcomique, Melissa, Shandera, Rodesha, p.c. 2833 Stephenie Butler, Sherell, Corey and Valencia, two son-in-laws-David Evans and Rodrey Munnings, two daughter-in-laws-Sophia Dean and Sylvia Major, two sisters-in-laws-Sylvinia Roxbury of New York and Chaterine Roxbury, twenty nieces-Muriel Fraser, Maxine Major, Sandra Felon, Nicoya Major, Joan Maxine Roxbury, Diandera, Bettymae, Ruthmae, Gloria, Lelia, Rosemary, Leonette, Michelle, Zelma, Marie, Ruthmae, Cheryl Major, Natasha and Shonelle, fifteen nephews-Andrew, Edwin, Quintin, Raymond, Trevor, Stephen, Rodney, Jonathan, Rudolph, Deon, Leonard, Daniel, Denkita, Bernard and Tyrone Taylor, six grand nieces, ten grand nephews, two great grand nephew, twenty eight great grands, seven great great grands, two aunts-Alicia Morris and lee Wallace, other relatives and friends including-Janet Halscott, Mary Mcintosh, Myrtis Adderley, Sandra Coakley, Rebecca Taylor, Carmie Sturrup, Natisha Evans, Andrew Smith, Aileen Knowles, Jane Musgrove, Lillian fox, Ruth Bullard, Ena Major, Collen Adderley, Betty, Shelly and family, Philomese and family, Paulette and family, Ainsley and family, Cinderilla, Sinclair Dean, Anthony Miller and family, Judy Brown and family, Shantell and family, East Storr ct. Friends may pay their last respects at Jones Funeral Home, Mount Royal Avenue on Friday from 10 a.m. -6 p.m. on Saturday from 9 a.m. -11 a.m. and from 12-noon to service time at the church.
