Freeport, Bahamas - The Grand Bahama Performing Arts Society (G.B.P.A.S) is proud to
announce it's first college scholarship recipient, Mr. Calvin Parker,
Jr. 

In August 2011, in the presence of his parents, Calvin was
presented with a cheque of $5000.00 by two members of the G.B.P.A.S.
committee, Ms. Ivy Elden, treasurer and Mrs. Colleen Lewis, secretary.

 

Calvin is a native of Grand Bahama and the son
of Calvin and Colene Parker. In June of this year, he successfully
completed a two year course at College of the Bahamas, New Providence,
where he received an Associates degree in Music. This dedicated young
man will continue his education at Full Sail University in Orlando...
