Restitution and Repositioning

The Esther Network will host the fourth annual Kingdom Women's Retreat and Conference under the theme: "Restitution and Reposition," September 29-October 1 in Treasure Cay, Abaco. The conference is designed for, and focused on women, and gives them three days of escape from the city for powerful and uplifting sessions, intermingled with relaxation and allowing their inner spirit to speak.  It's expected to be the kind of atmosphere that will allow for epiphanies to happen and ultimately, create a more self-confident woman who loves herself and is ready to share more love with the world.

This is the mission of Tara Moss, founder of the Esther Network.  "One of the things I recognized coming back home, was that a lot of women are still searching for what it is God wants them to do; still wondering and asking what is my purpose and what am I here to do,"she said.  She wanted to impact the lives of those she comes into contact with on a daily basis, and hopefully inspire them to see their self worth and then begin to impact others around them.

Moss returned home from college with an outlook that many may not perceive until later on in life.  She says she realized that the Lord had placed an assignment on her life to inspire all people, but especially women, who oftentimes are not encouraged and reminded of their value and worth.  When someone realizes how valuable they are as a person, they begin living a more purposeful life, Moss says.

This led to the birth of the Esther Network, now in its fourth year.  Moss says the network was created out of a mission to help women: "I wanted them to discover their purpose in order to fulfill their God-given assignment here on earth, so we are basically here to assist in propelling them in their quest of seeking the Lord and finding out what is it that He has them here to do.

"I have found out that until you discover your purpose you will not be fulfilled.
"For the past few years the country and world has been going through a recession -- if not you, a family member, neighbor, or friend -- someone you know has lost their home or job.  This theme speaks to being paid back.  Restitution is a legal term meaning everything that you lost or that was stolen from you, will be paid back to you in full.  I wanted to encourage sisters and brothers in Christ to understand that it doesn't matter what you have lost, God will pay you back and this is the year for restitution.  Once you are paid back, you will be repositioned in life, in family, your self-esteem, and in so many other ways."

One of the many highlights of this year's conference will be sessions focused on the younger generation of females aged 13 to 25.  She sees it as vital that this age group attends in order to network with older women who can share advice, who truly care and will be there to guide them through difficult times in life. Tamara Simmons, Broken in Worship; Apostle Valentino Williams, Life Changers Int'l'; Teresa Hairston, CEO and publisher of Gospel Today Magazine; and Angela Ramnath, The Esther Gathering, will be the speakers for the conference.
