Two women and a man have lost their lives as three killings in three days pushed the national murder count to 90.  The most recent murder occurred at the exclusive Club Med Resort in San Salvador, police said.  Residents on the island found a 27-year-old female security guard dead around 9:40 a.m. on Sunday with multiple stab wounds.

According to well-placed sources, police have already identified a suspect in the matter.  A man who reportedly told family members he was going to kill the woman has vanished, sources allege.  Officers from the Central Detective Unit are on the island assisting their colleagues with the investigation.

Anyone with information should contact the police at 911, 919, San Salvador Police at 225-3270 or CRIME STOPPERS at 1-300-8476.  Detectives are also in Exuma looking for the boyfriend of a 17-year-old murder victim.  According to police the teenage girl was at a home in Moss Town when she got into an argument with a man, who fatally stabbed her around 8:30 p.m. on August 12.

The Nassau Guardian understands that the families of the victim and the suspect live on the same street in Montell Heights.  Her father is a former police officer.  Police are also investigating the shooting death of a man in Bain Town.

According to police, the 27-year-old resident of Hospital Lane was walking through a track road between West Street and Hospital Lane around 11:30 p.m. on August 13.  He reportedly encountered another man through the short cut, who shot him during an altercation.  Last year, the country had a record of 94 murders.  The 90th murder of 2010 took place on December 6.
