The Cabinet Office announces that, in observance of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the National Flag was lowered to half-mast on Thursday, 8th September and will be flown at half-mast until the morning after the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Further, the National Flag will return to full-mast for a 24-hour period on Saturday, 10th September, beginning at 9:00 a.m., to mark the Proclamation of Accession of King Charles III as King of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth realms and, thereafter, return to half-mast.
