Man 'stole car and shotgun'

A MAN was sent to prison from the Magistrate's Court yesterday accused of stealing a woman's car and shotgun at gunpoint.

 

Dimmon Hall, 24, represented by attorney David Cash, faced Assistant Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain on a charge of armed robbery. On July 17 in New Providence, Hall, reportedly armed with a black handgun, robbed Pamela Heastie of her $15,000 red 2013 Ford Escape. The accused is also alleged to have stolen her $2,000 black Mossberg shotgun.
#Hall was not required to enter a plea and was instead informed that his case would proceed by way of a Voluntary Bill of Indictment.
#The magistrate further told the accused that he could apply for bail through the Supreme Court, where his case will be heard. Hall will be remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
#Hall will be served his VBI on October 27.
