Nassau, Bahamas - The Southeastern Police Summer Camp highlighted the
importance of trees to the more than 200 children attending the program
this summer.  The tree planting ceremony was held at the South Beach
Police Station, where three palm tress were planted.  The trees, soil
and fertilizer were donated through the collaborative effort of
corporate citizens and plant nurseries.

The summer
campers, ages 6 through 17, have learned much so far, including road
safety; fire prevention; the use of the police canine unit in combating
crimes; and they have also visited many historical sites around New
Providence to increase their appreciation for their country...
