General Situation: Abundant tropical moisture streaming across the Bahamas interacting with an upper-level disturbance approaching the area from the Gulf of Mexico will continue to promote an unsettled weather pattern across the Islands today. Through Sunday, high pressure centered in the Atlantic will gradually build across the Bahamas to support gentle to moderate winds while a drier airmass moves in across the Archipelago. High pressure will continue to expand westwards and dominate the weather pattern, supporting moderate to occasionally fresh winds and warmer temperatures through the upcoming week.

Monday 23rd – Partly sunny and warm with a few isolated showers and thunderstorms during the day. Mostly fair and warm with a few late-night showers expected during the night. Maximum temperature 84°F through 88°F and minimum temperature 70°F through 75°F. A small craft caution will be in effect for the Central and Southeast Bahamas. Winds E to SE at 15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas and 15 to 20 knots in the Central and Southeast Bahamas. Seas 3 to 5 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 4 to 6 feet in the Central and Southeast Bahamas.
