BAMSI EMPLOYEES TO ACCESS INTERNATIONAL TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

EMPLOYEES of the Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Science Institute (BAMSI) will now be able to access training offered by the Thailand International Cooperation Agency. The Agency provides free online courses in a number of areas including sustainable agriculture, food technology, climate change, the environment and also health related courses. BAMSI President Senator, the Hon. Dr. Erecia Hepburn (left) is spearheading the professional development initiative following meetings with Ms. Faith Maycock, head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Technical Assistance Division. The two discussed how BAMSI faculty and staff might access international training opportunities and the steps needed to make this a reality.
