Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI) student Elsito Gibson (Center) recently scored a new laptop sponsored by Cable Bahamas Solutions. During the ‘Push Your Business To The Next Level’ entrepreneurship seminar, the young Family Islander blew judges away with a pitch for his proposed business- an air-conditioning repair service. Elsito participated in the dynamic seminar with three other zealous students. Simone L. Bowe (Left) and Joyce Johnson (Right) hosted the event which focused on helping budding entrepreneurs to build connections, increase visibility and use strategy to grow a business. BTVI was a key partner in this initiative and students, like first place winner Elsito, embraced their opportunity to be trained and inspired by leading business professionals and receive answers to all their entrepreneurial questions.
