Rotarians are looking to change the world – with the motto Service Above Self, Rotarians believe the world could be happier, healthier, and more peaceful, by creating a better world through service. Embracing humanity and the commitment to community service, the Rotary Club of East Nassau recently provided much needed medical supplies and equipment to be shared between the three Cat Island Clinics. The equipment and medical supplies, valued at over $3,000, included A1C test kits, oxygen concentrator, glucometers, strips, cholesterol monitors, nebulizers, hemoglobin analyzer, cuvettes, tourniquets, burn dressings, pulse oximeters for adults and children, sanitizers, disinfectants, isolation gowns, KN95 masks, and SD Boisensor COVID-19 rapid tests.

Presenting the medical supplies, Past President Moodie stated “As a service organization, The Rotary Club of East Nassau considers it our responsibility to devote resources to improving the quality of life in our community. We join forces to help meet community needs, not only through monetary means but also through volunteerism. On behalf of the Rotary Club of East Nassau, we are very pleased to present the Cat Island Clinics with the much needed medical supplies and equipment.” Accepting the generous donation on behalf of the Cat Island Clinics was Inetta Butler and Glendora Hart.
