...VICTOR REMAINS A TROPICAL DEPRESSION...

...EXPECTED TO BECOME A REMNANT LOW BY MONDAY...

 AT 5:00 AM EDT, THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION VICTOR WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 16.1° NORTH AND LONGITUDE 39.9° WESTOR ABOUT 1055 MILES WEST OF THE CABO VERDE ISLANDS.

VICTOR IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST NEAR 16 MILES PER HOUR.  THIS GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MILES PER HOUR WITH HIGHER GUSTS.  SOME FLUCTUATIONS IN INTENSITY COULD OCCUR TODAY.
